Hanks to film in Belfast

Belfast is fast becoming a mecca for top Hollywood stars now that Tom Hanks has confirmed a 16-week shoot for his production company’s children’s fantasy City of Ember.

Starting in early summer the $50m film will be directed by Gil Kenan.
