The Reef won't hold the kiddies attention

Fish, in their many forms, are big on screen these days, no codding!

We’ve had Nemo, Little Mermaids and a selection of sharks in a selection of tales in some quite excellent animated films.

This, alas, falls short of matching what has gone before. Poor animation, characterisation and narration makes this a sore disappointment of thinly-stretched plotting and unappealing characters.

The kiddies might like it, but I doubt it … it’s not original or witty enough to hold their attention to the finish.
