Mr & Mrs Bridges worth checking out

Real life husband and wife Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward are Mr & Mrs Bridges (Momentum, €21.99).

Woodward is an austere matriarch who suddenly wakes up to the fact that her grown up children are no longer prepared to play by her restrictive rules.

Set in the pre-war US midwest, it’s an emotional rollercoaster that earned Woodward an Oscar nomination.

Worth checking out.
