Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong and Pearl Jam joined forces with U2 to help them close their Vertigo world tour in Hawaii on Saturday night.

The band kicked off their Vertigo tour in San Diego, California on March 28, 2005, but announced in March this year they were postponing the final leg of the tour due to serious illness of one of the band's family members.
