Guns N' Roses cdancel gig over drink ban

Rock band Guns N’ Roses cancelled a US performance this week after being told by state officials that the band could not drink on stage.

Fire officials in Portland, Maine, gave the band the no-drinking order when they came to review the pyrotechnics planned for Monday’s scheduled concert at Cumberland County Civic Centre, said Stephen McCausland, spokesman for Maine Public Safety Department.
