Cowell rules out 'ridiculous' marriage

British pop mogul Simon Cowell has ruled out marriage with longterm girlfriend Terri Seymour, insisting he finds the concept "ridiculous".

The American Idol judge has been dating Seymour for four years but is in no hurry to walk down the aisle, claiming a life-long romantic and financial contract bothers him.

He says: "It is the most ridiculous contract in the world. It's just crazy.

"Without any legal advice you sign this binding contract and you are not sure where you are going to be in 10 years' time."

Cowell was accused by British newspapers of cheating on Seymour earlier this year with a 21-year-old model. He denied the claims.
