Lord of the Dance due to tie the knot
One of the biggest celebrity weddings of the year will begin this afternoon when Lord of the Dance Michael Flatley will tie the knot with fiancée Niamh O’Brien in Fermoy.
A rehearsal was held in the church at 11 this morning to put the finishing touches to the ceremony.
After the service, around 250 guests will enjoy a dinner of north Cork beef, Blackwater salmon and a "seafood fantasy" to start.
The actual wedding ceremony is being especially put together by Ronan Hardiman the composer, who is a great friend of Michael Flatley.
He collaborated with Michael Flatley for Celtic Tiger and going to have a small orchestra in St Patrick's Church.
The music will also feature traditional musicians and a local soloist from Fermoy, called Sarah Barry will be singing a hymn by Mozart.
