Cher makes millions auctioning off personal items

An auction of more than 700 items belonging to singer and actress Cher has raised more than $3.5m (€2.75m), far exceeding initial expectations.

Devoted fans snapped up Cher's possessions at the two-day sale held in Los Angeles in conjunction with Julien's Auctions and Sotheby's.
