Gyllenhaal, Sarsgaard 'welcome first child'
Hollywood couple Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard are celebrating the birth of their first child two weeks early, according to US reports.
The New York Daily News claims the actress was rushed to hospital on Tuesday, accompanied by her fiance, and hints she may have gone into early labour.
Internet reports allege the pair became new parents at 8pm local time the same evening at a New York City hospital. A source close to the couple reveals the daughter has been named Ramona.
Gyllenhaal, 28, and Sarsgaard, 35, announced their engagement in April. They weren't expecting their baby for another 14 days.
