Hollywood couple Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard are celebrating the birth of their first child two weeks early, according to US reports.

The New York Daily News claims the actress was rushed to hospital on Tuesday, accompanied by her fiance, and hints she may have gone into early labour.
