Hammond transferred to a general ward

Top Gears, Richard Hammond has been transferred from a high-dependency unit to a general ward according to hospital officials.

The TV host who was airlifted for medical treatment after a horrific three-hundred miles per hour crash last week is now well enough to chat and share a joke with his family.
