In El Lobo (Warner Vision, €22.99), Eduardo Noriega plays a builder down on his luck who is persuaded to infiltrate Basque terror group ETA in a high stakes game that quickly lands him in the middle of a murderous escapade.

Directed by Miguel Courtois, this gripping political thriller is based on real-life Basque, Mikel Lejarza (he’s called Txema in the film).

Noriega is excellent as the out of his league Txema, who eventually finds himself left high and dry when the net closes on ETA following the assassination of the Spain’s prime minister. It includes a ’making of’ featurette and a photo gallery.
