An engagement riddle was sparked by Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan when she flashed an enormous sparkler at a film festival.

The 20-year-old wore a solitaire diamond on her ring finger as she walked the red carpet for the premiere of her new film at the Venice Film Festival yesterday.
