Madonna's Moscow gig to move in safety fear
Safety fears may force singer Madonna to change the location of an upcoming Moscow concert.
The star is scheduled to make her first appearance in the Russian capital on September 11 as part of her world tour.
However, authorities are considering moving the gig from near Lomonosov University to the city's Tushino airfield. There are fears students could fall out of windows in their attempts to watch the concert.
There were no plans to cancel the concert despite a bomb attack on a Moscow market on Monday that claimed 10 lives.
The Material Girl is also planning to take the opportunity to meet the Russian president Vladimir Putin when she meets with the first family for a private dinner during the tour.
Madonna has been eyeing a date with the political heavyweight for months, but it was Putin's daughters Maria and Katya, both huge Madonna fans, who eventually convinced him to make it happen.
A source tells British newspaper The Sun: "This has been on the cards for a while. She really wanted to meet him but he wasn't sure initially."
Madonna's invitation distances Putin from the Russian Orthodox Church's stance on her impending show - the singer has already been lambasted by religious leaders in the country for her controversial crucifixion stunt, with one churchman insisting she "needs spiritual assistance".
