Dallas star to head for space

Former Dallas star Victoria Principal has been given the all clear to jet off into space on Virgin's first rocket mission after beating a blood disorder.

The actress-turned-cosmetics guru feared that her health concerns surrounding a diagnosis of Intravascular Hypercoagulation would ruin her space dreams.

However, a strict course of homeopathic medication seems to have resolved the problem and she has just passed her physical for the trip of a lifetime.

Principal says: "It's something I've wanted to do for over a decade, so now I'm an ambassador to space for Virgin Galactic and I will be one of the first female astronauts to go up.

"I passed the physical, I go into training next year and I go up in June of 2008."
