Fears for frail Day-Lewis

Texans near the set of Daniel Day-Lewis' latest movie 'There will be blood' fear the method actor may be taking his role too seriously, after spotting him looking skinny and weak.

The actor, renowned for his conscientious preparation for parts, famously incarcerated himself in a cell for 'In the name of the father', and trained with a professional fighter for 'The boxer'.

But worried onlookers fear his latest period role as a Texan oil prospector is punishing him even more.

An insider tells British newspaper the Daily Express: "He looks very thin and likes to jog in a full tracksuit, even though it's more than 100 degrees.

"We're worried he may collapse."

Day-Lewis' spokesman declines to comment on the reports.
