Barrymore downs shots in order to sing

Charlie’s Angels star Drew Barrymore was so terrified of singing in her new film she forced the director to give her whisky shots before shooting the scene.

The star plays a lounge singer in new film Lucky You and convinced 8 Mile director Curtis Hanson she desperately needed shots of Southern Comfort beforehand.
