Kid Rock: 'I love Pamela to death'

Rap-rocker Kid Rock was stunned when he bumped into ex-fiancée Pamela Anderson in France earlier this month, because he realised he is still in love with her.

The former Baywatch star ended their 14-month engagement in June 2003 after they dated for two years. In recent months, Anderson has been linked to Backbeat actor Stephen Dorff and British TV presenter Steve Jones.

However, the couple stunned Hollywood on Tuesday when they announced they were dating again and would wed on July 29 onboard a yacht moored off St Tropez in the south of France.

The pair bumped into each other on a boat owned by a mutual pal and realised they still care deeply for each other.

Kid Rock, real name Robert James Richie, tells People magazine: "It was like we'd never been apart. It turned out great. She had the kids there and it was so nice to see them and it was wonderful. Love her to death."
