Ellen, Brenda and Sue head to l970s Haiti for some restorative adventures; anything to brighten up their lives of discontent: they're on the wrong side of forty, not appreciated by their men, lonely.

A touch of sun, sand and sex is called for by these American ladies; though what they find and how they find it isn't always quite what they expect.

A powerfully emotional drama is well performed by a fine cast and the characters are strong enough to enlist our sympathy and support.
