Robbie Williams has injected a little sporting passion into his European tour dates by hosting a soccer match at every city he plays in honour of the game's World Cup.

The Angles hitmaker kicked off his Close Encounters tour in Dublin last weekand has since played central Paris, too.

Alongside his musical entourage, the singer is travelling with his star-studded England Legends squad and hopes to take on youth teams from top clubs in every country he visits.

Yesterday, Williams wowed 1,500 Parisian fans with his pitch skills.

An onlooker says: "Loads of people came along to see Robbie play. He got really involved and looked like he was loving it. You could tell he plays a lot because he was really good."
