Lumley to receive honorary degree
British actress Joann Lumley is to be awarded an honorary doctorate from the University Of St Andrews in Scotland.
The glamourous 60-year-old, famed for starring in The New Avengers, will join movie star Michael Douglas at the ceremony at the institution's Younger Hall later this month.
St Andrews is used to illustrious guests - last year British royal Prince William graduated with a History Of Art degree.
