Michael: 'I had to write about my ordeal'

George Michael's new song An Easier Affair was inspired by the furore surrounding him after he was discovered slumped in his car in central London earlier this year.

The track popped into his head at the time of the ordeal, during which he was cautioned for possession of cannabis.
