Toy firm dump plans for Pussycat Dolls

American toy giant Hasbro has dumped plans to release dolls of pop six-piece The Pussycat Dolls after protests from angry parents.

The firm announced last month they were planning to market likenesses of the burlesque dancers-turned-pop stars this Christmas.
