Elton plans new musical
Elton John is already planning his next musical - a stage version of Pedro Almodovar movie Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.
The superstar's latest production Lestat disappointed critics when it was unveiled on Broadway, New York, this week.
But Elton John has approached Almodovar about the 1988 film and admits he is at "the ideas stage" of a production.
The Rocket Man says: "It's such a colourful story and different from what I've done before. I could have a lot of fun with something like that."
John adds that he and song-writing partner Bernie Taupin will continue to tweak Lestat until they can make it a hit.
He says: "You never stop working on a musical, even after it's opened."
