The French dominated the awards ceremony at Istanbul’s annual film festival today, with actress Catherine Deneuve and actor Gerard Depardieu accepting special honour awards.

The French dominated the awards ceremony at Istanbul’s annual film festival today, with actress Catherine Deneuve and actor Gerard Depardieu accepting special honour awards.

French actor Alain Delon and actress Jeanne Moreau received lifetime achievement awards, along with Italian documentary maker Vittorio De Seta.
