Simpsons movie imminent
The long-awaited movie version of The Simpsons is scheduled to hit cinemas in summer 2007, and executives at Fox pulled off a marketing coup at the weekend by going straight to the US cinemagoing public with the news.
Rather than announcing the news about the arrival of Bart, Homer, Marge, Lisa and co on the big screen through the press, the studio opted to put together a teaser trailer which aired before 'Ice Age: The Meltdown', the weekend's most-watched film in the US.
