For those of you who have suffered the inane ramblings of the former sportsmen 'gracing' the TV panel this so-so drama might appeal. Otherwise switch over to the cooking show.

McConaughey plays a gridiron star whose serious injury opens up a spot on a sports cable show, turning him into a gilded hot-shot predictor of games.

When, however, things go wrong ... And wrong they go, quite rapidly, in what is a join-the-dot drama in which the stars appear not to have figured out where it's meant to be going.
