Dublin Film Festival: Box office opens today

The box office for the fourth annual Dublin International Film Festival is due to open later today.

The event was officially opened last night by actor Cillian Murphy, the star of Breakfast on Pluto.

Organisers are expecting to sell around 30,000 tickets for the various films showing between February 17 and 26.

Actors such as Daniel Day-Lewis, Ralph Fiennes and John Hurt will all attend screenings during the week.
