X Factor's James is West End Motown star

X Factor hopeful James Bellamy has landed a starring role on the West End stage.

Millions of viewers saw James just fail to make it into Louis Walsh’s final four.

But the 17-year-old could have the last laugh after being cast as Stevie Wonder in the musical Dancing In The Streets.

James is still at college during the day and will appear on stage at London’s Cambridge Theatre in the evenings.

The musical is a revue of Tamla Motown classics and has already toured the UK.

Before trying out for the X Factor, London schoolboy James had bit parts in TV and films including Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Simon Cowell called him “super-talented” while Walsh declared him a “future Michael Jackson”.
