Daltrey destroyed by Townshend allegations

Roger Daltrey describes bandmate Pete Townshend's 2003 arrest for child pornography as one of "the most f**king terrible things" that has ever happened to him.

The pair have been bandmates and friends since their youth, so the shock police sting hit him hard.

Daltrey says: "History proved him and me right. All the rest is salacious crap. That's all you could say. But before anyone had said anything about it, it was one of the most f**king terrible things that had happened to me in my life.

"I had to go, 'Listen to what's being said here.'"
