Timberlake learns guitar

Pop heart-throb Justin Timberlake is learning to play the guitar in a bid to create a rocky new sound on his upcoming album.

The Senorita singer has locked himself away with his instrument to help him ditch his R&B roots and get raw.

He tells MTV: "It's going to be interesting to see what comes out of this record because everything I wrote on the last record (Justified), I wanted it concentrated to one thing: a pop R&B sound.

"This one, it's more fly by the seat of your pants. It's less concentrated to one sound.

"It's more broad as far as the styles I wanted to mix in to my own type of thing."
