Mena can't wait to be 27

Actress Mena Suvari can't wait to turn 27 in February because she's convinced her 26th year is cursed.

The American Beauty star has nothing but "bad memories" about 2005 after splitting from husband Robert Brinkman.

She says: "I hate 26. I think it's a bad number. It just seems off. One of my friends told me that 26 is a time when you start questioning everything: what you're doing, where you're going.

"I feel like I know where I want to be, I just want to hurry up and get there."

Suvari admits she's still coming to terms with her marriage split: "I'm still in shock mode. It's like, 'What the hell happened?'"
