Flightplan is recued by Foster's fine skills

A great idea, but somehow this missing-in-flight drama doesn’t quite deliver on its promise.

Foster, always worth watching, plays the mum who falls asleep on a flight from Germany to the USA and wakens up to find her young daughter missing.

Even worse, everybody seems to be conspiring against her with claims that the little lass was never on the ‘plane in the first place.

It’s a film full of tension and mystery: like, where could you possible hide on a ‘plane?

The answer is a pretty weak one as the film falls apart towards the climax. The journey is, though, exciting enough before the destination is reached.
