Sharon Stone has co-written a song to raise funds for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

"Come Together Now", released as a single in the US on November 29, features Celine Dion, Wyclef Jean, Joss Stone and more than a dozen other artists.

It's been available to buy on the internet since October 17.

Proceeds will go to relief charities Habitat for Humanity and Angel's Place.

The actress, who is currently shooting a film about Robert Kennedy, said she had been writing songs with various collaborators for the past year.

The single will also form part of a compilation album called ,Hurricane Relief: Come Together Now.

The album will include contributions from Elton John, Barbra Streisand and James Brown.
