Doherty disowns Libertines album

Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has severed ties with his former band The Libertines claiming their acclaimed second album had nothing to do with him.

The troubled rocker says he feels like a "fraud" when listening to Libertines tracks.

He says: "The second Libertines album was nothing to do with me at all. By the time it came out it had nothing to do with me, the artwork, nothing - I just wasn't in the band. It was quite strange."
