Bond confusion

The makers of the 007 films certainly know how to build up the tension … the movie industry has been awash with rumours, claims and counter-claims over who exactly is going to replace Pierce Brosnan in the new James Bond adventure.

That is if Brosnan is being replaced.

Hollywood tattle has it that the Irishman will return for one more shaking and stirring.

Or then again, it was suggested that an unknown Ulster actor, Strabane's Roderick O'Grady (aged 35), has read for the part for Casino Royale director Martin Campbell.

Nice thought, but unlikely.

So step forward British actor, Daniel Craig.

It's strongly hinted that he will be confirmed as the new super-cool agent this week.
