Clooney: No Pitt-Jolie wedding at my villa

If Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning to get married at George Clooney’s villa in Italy, it’s news to him.

“People have said they were going to get married at my house,” Clooney said.

”Well, I would know, and I can tell you there’s not going to be a secret wedding.”

Tabloids have reported that Pitt and Jolie were planning to wed in a private ceremony at Clooney’s villa.

While magazines have published numerous photos of the couple together, neither has confirmed they are dating – and Clooney wouldn’t either.

“I’ve met Angelina – I like her very much – but I would never talk about whether they are together or not,” the 44-year-old actor said. “I don’t speak of my own personal life – I would never speak of my friends.”

Meanwhile, several shoppers at the West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, Alberta, reported seeing the Mr & Mrs Smith co-stars with Jolie’s two children, Maddox and Zahara, yesterday.

Kayla Penny, who works in a clothing store, told a TV station that she and her co-workers immediately rushed to snap pictures of the couple on their mobile phones. She said most onlookers behaved well.

“There were a couple of people who ran and shook (Pitt’s) hand, but he just shook their hand back and didn’t really think anything of it,” Penny said.

Pitt’s wife, Jennifer Aniston, filed for divorce earlier this year.

The 41-year-old actor has been in Canada to film scenes for his new movie, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.
