Lil' Kim inspired by Martha Stewart

Convicted hip-hop star Lil' Kim is taking inspiration from domestic goddess Martha Stewart as she prepares to begin her year-and-a-day jail sentence.

The Not Tonight rapper - real name Kimberly Jones - is set to be incarcerated in a Connecticut prison on September 19 after being found guilty of lying to a Grand Jury - and she hopes she will handle the experience as well as Stewart.

The 64-year-old recently completed a prison term and a period of house arrest following her conviction for lying about a stock sale, and Jones is amazed that Stewart "came out (of jail) looking better than when she went in".

She tells the New York Daily News: "Her courage and strength is definitely encouraging."
