Boy and Girl come from the planet Drool and ask young Max to return with them to save life as they know it.

Director Rodriguez brought us the brilliant Sin City but somehow misses out with this superhero effort.

None of the characters manage to enlist our excitement, sympathy or enthusiasm.

Neither is it a particularly well-made film.
