Happy Mondays singer Shaun Ryder has urged Charlotte Church not to talk to the press until she's older - because he's horrified by her immature comments.

Ryder has blasted the 19-year-old Welsh singer for openly discussing her love life in the media and fears she'll regret her current behaviour in 10 years' time.

Ryder, 43, says, "Charlotte Church might be a mature singer but she isn't a mature person. She's a child.

"When she gets to about 28 she will be absolutely embarrassed at what she's doing now and how she's talking about boyfriends and stuff. It's humiliating."
