Extra viewers turns off Gervais show

The second episode of Ricky Gervais’ new comedy Extras lost more than a million viewers last night.

The BBC2 sitcom kicked off with 4.6 million viewers last week with guest-star Ben Stiller. Last night’s show, which starred Vinnie Jones and ex-EastEnders hardman Ross Kemp, drew 3.4 million and a 16.1% share at 9pm, down from 24% last week.
