Fans rage at Doherty for postponing Babyshambles tour
Troubled Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has been bombarded with hate mail from furious fans after he postponed the band's summer tour.
The tour is intended to promote forthcoming single F**k Forever, but promoters have cancelled the 14-date UK tour because the British rockers have not yet completed the track.
And thousands of fans have vented their anger over the cancellation by filling internet message boards with furious posts and sending Doherty bitter letters.
One post reads: "I was well looking forward to it and I can't believe Pete's bottled it again. I'm not waiting around for him."
Another angry fan writes: "That's it as far as I'm concerned."
An insider tells British newspaper the Daily Star: "The bosses at Pete's record label are terrified. Their album is still not near completion. They can't afford for Pete to be out of the studio for any
more time.
"The band have been working on the LP for nearly six months and it's still not near completion."
