Brooke to take to Broadway stage

Brooke Shields is to star in the Broadway production of 'Chicago' once her run in the London show ends.

The actress joins the New York company at the Ambassador Theatre on the 9th of September. Her three-month stint in the UK production comes to an end on the 30th of July.

The 40-year-old star of 'Suddenly Susan' and 'The Blue Lagoon' last performed on Broadway in the musical 'Wonderful Town'.
