Elton John is amazed his pal Rod Stewart denied reports he's to become a father for the seventh time - because the Rocket Man insists Stewart confided his fiancee Penny lancaster is pregnant.

The flamboyant singer says he recently met Stewart and Lancaster at Las Vegas's Caesar Palace casino and was told the good news from the expectant father.
