Spice Girls to sing at Live 8
Just days after Melanie Brown hinted the Spice Girls may reunite next year, it has been reported the former girl group will perform at this summer's charity concert Live 8.
The singer, formerly nicknamed Scary Spice, excited fans last week by claiming the Wannabe hitmakers will reform "hopefully, next year if we can get everything sorted out and together", on British TV show GM:TV.
The concert, scheduled for July 2 in London's Hyde Park, is set to host huge names, including U2, Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd and Rolling Stones.
British newspapers The Sun and Daily Mirror both reported the girls will reform at the gig, which will highlight the need for world leaders to end poverty.
A Spice Girls insider says: "The girls would be honoured to take part. The dance routines are a bit rusty, but they'll put on a great show."
The girlband haven't performed together as a fivesome since Geri Halliwell quit the group in 1998.
