Shakira makes MTV history with comeback video

Columbian pop star Shakira made MTV history yesterday when her new promo becomes the first Spanish-language video to feature on the Making The Video show.

The singer teams up with Spanish heart-throb Alejandro Sanz on comeback single La Tortura.

Shakira admits she's thrilled with the new promo, and even happier with her duet.

She says: "Alejandro's voice was exactly what the song needed. His voice is unique, raw, and absolutely sensual.

"He added a beautiful and unexpected vocal harmony, and played a Cuban Tres (string instrument). What can I say? I'm running his fan club now."
