Moss dumped Doherty over daughter fears

Kate Moss jettisoned her fledgling romance with troubled British rocker Pete Doherty because she knew he wouldn't be good for her daughter Lila.

Douglas Hack, father of the supermodel's ex-boyfriend and father of her child Jefferson, asserts he would never have allowed the former-Libertine, famed for his drug addictions, close to his granddaughter.

Douglas says: "Kate had one evening with Pete at her birthday party in the Cotswolds (England), but she would never have let him near her two-year-old daughter, Lila.

"Jefferson would be down on Kate like a ton of bricks if she was dating Pete and it affected their daughter. So would his mother Teresa and I."
