Bono starstruck by Clinton

Rocker Bono was left star-struck after meeting former US President Bill Clinton, because "he looked more like a pop star" than the U2 frontman.

The campaigning superstar visited the charismatic Clinton at the White House during his time as president to discuss his charity work - and was left humbled by the experience.

He says: "I think they thought I was there to do the carpentry.

"I thought... (Clinton) looked more like a pop star than I did. And I thought he might be thinking that, too."
