Paul Simon returns with new musical
Paul Simon's music is back on stage in a new Florida musical, seven years after the singer/songwriter's last theatrical venture was a flop on Broadway, New York.
The Sounds of Simon, which features Simon & Garfunkel classics including I Am A Rock and The Boxer, is getting rave reviews during its month- long run at the Atlantis Playhouse.
Simon created his own ill-fated musical, The Capeman, in 1998, which followed the real-life struggles of late serial killer Salvador Agron, played by both Marc Anthony and Ruben Blades.
The poorly-received musical closed after just 68 performances.
