Minnelli lawyers seek to end potato cabaret

Lawyers acting for Liza Minnelli have warned a Scottish potato company to stop calling one of their spuds 'The Cabaret', or face legal action.

Potato firm Cygnet Potato Breeders recently launched an advertising campaign in which Minnelli's legs were replaced by potato chips alongside the slogan: 'Life is a Cabaret. Worth making a song and dance about.'
