Cowell searches for teen songwriter

Simon Cowell is teaming up with American Idol winner Fantasia to select and launch the career of a budding teenage songwriter.

Cowell - who serves as a judge on the TV talent show - and Fantasia are calling on talented youngsters in the US aged between 13 and 18 to enter the USA Weekend Songwriting Contest for Teens, where the grand prize will include a $1,000 (€759) Savings Bond, a mobile phone/MP3 player and music production equipment.
